Recipes: automation that edits
Standing instructions that run agents automatically — after imports, on schedules, within budgets.
A recipe is a standing instruction the board executes without you: "after every import, log the b-roll, cut a selects reel, and comment anything unusable." Recipes live on the Recipes page of every board.
Key properties:
- Triggers — run after imports land, on a schedule, or on demand
- Steps — each step is an agent doing a job with real tools, same as if you'd asked in chat
- Budgets — every recipe carries a credit cap; it stops when the meter hits the cap, so automation can't surprise you. The recipe card shows spend live.
- Templates — save a working recipe as a template and instantiate it on other boards
Recipes + agents + skills compose: a recipe step can run your agent carrying your style skill — a personalized post-production pipeline that runs while you sleep.
