Subtitles & captions
Word-timed karaoke subtitles generated from the transcript, or import your own SRT/VTT.
Two ways to caption an edit:
- Generate: ask "create subtitles for this edit". Word-timed cues land on the Titles lane and the player renders them live with karaoke-style word highlighting. You also get a ready-to-render motion-graphics composition (React/Remotion) stored on the edit for pixel-perfect final renders.
- Import: drop an SRT or WebVTT file onto the edit (or ask an agent to import it). An offset option aligns files that were authored against the uncut footage.
Translations and styled cards: since cues are just timed text, an agent can read them, translate or rewrite them, and write them back with identical timing — "translate the subtitles to Spanish" works as one instruction.
Tip: run filler-word removal before generating, so captions match the cleaned cut.
